MAIZE PRIVACY POLICY AGREEMENT

(“Privacy Policy”)

A. Purpose

 

Maize, LLC respects the privacy of our users.  This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you visit our application. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.  

B. Collection and Use of Personal Data

 

In order to use our application, we will ask you to provide us the following personal data:

 

First name and last name; 

Email address; and

General location information.

 

We will use your personal data only to compile an application user list.   We may use this user list for marketing or promotional materials and other information related to the application that may be of interest to you.  

 

As it relates to information about your general location, we will use this only to optimize your use of and experience with the application. Specifically, in the event that the application cannot detect your location through your device’s built in location services, the general location information you provided would be relied upon.

 

By using our application, you agree to our use of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

In order to use our premium application, you will also have the option to provide your photo solely for purposes of building out your personal profile.  This photo will not be used by the application for any other purpose.  

C. Disclosure of Your Personal Data

 

We will not disclose your personal data for any reason other than the following possibilities:

 

To a third party that performs email delivery for us; or

To comply with a legal obligation.

 

You will have the option to opt out of receiving emails from the application.

D. Security of Your Personal Data

 

The security of your personal data is important to us.  While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal data you have provided, please be aware that despite our efforts, no methods of transmission or storage is 100% secure.  Any information disclosed is vulnerable to interception or misuse by unauthorized parties and thus,  we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

E. Retention of Your Personal Data

 

The Company will retain your personal data only for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes of this Privacy Policy.  

F. Tracking Technologies

 

We may use beacons and/or other tracking technologies on the application for the specific purpose of customizing the application and improving user experience.  Your personal data is not collected through the use of tracking technologies.

G. Third Party Websites or Stores

 

The application contains links to third-party websites that are not affiliated with, or operated by, us. If  you use these links to leave the application, any information you provide to these third parties is not covered by this Privacy Policy and we cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of your information.  Before visiting and providing any information to any third-party websites you should inform yourself of the privacy policies and practices (if any) of such third party responsible for that website.  We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other sites, services or applications that may be linked to or from the application.

 

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the third-party online and/or mobile store from which you install the application.  We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.

H. Children’s Privacy

 

Our service does not intentionally address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us using the contact information provided below. 

 

If we become aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take the necessary steps to remove that information.  If we need to rely on consent as a legal basis for collecting your information, we may require your parent’s consent before we collect and use that information.

“Application”: The software program provided by Maize, LLC downloaded by you on any electronic device

 

“Personal data”: Your name and your email account

 

“Tracking technologies”: Technologies used to collect information about users and their specific activities on the application

 

“You”: The individual accessing or using the application or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the application (if any)

J. Changes to Privacy Policy

 

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason as we see fit.  You will be notified of changes to this Privacy Policy.  You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to it, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes to this Privacy Policy by your continued use of the application.
