From both the map view and the explore view you can customize your search radius up to 200mi and search any of our list of 30,000 U.S. cities. Full transparency, you won't find Maize businesses in all of them yet, but it's our goal to keep filling up the map!
Business & Product Info
The business profile that you will find for every business on the app includes a list of the local food or producers featured at that business. On top of that we also offer important exploration information like hours, directions, and criteria verification badges.
Our product profile is new in our premium Locavore version of the app. This allows you to click on any of the local foods featured at a business or in a Maize Table post, and see a "Where-to-Find" list for those products.
MAIZE TABLE
Many of us love to cook. Many of us also love to cook with the local ingredients we find on Maize! Maize Table is built so you can post pictures of any of your homemade creations, or see what other people are cooking up with local foods.
Posts on Maize Table include tags/links for products and businesses that exist within the app. These tags link to the "Where to Find" pages or the business profiles!
PROFILE, PRO-TIPS, AND MORE
Maize allows you the ability to check-in at any of the businesses. This feature allows you to generate activity stats that fuel your locavore lifestyle and let you get the most personalized experience out of the app.
When you check-in at a Maize business you are given the option to provide a pro-tip to other users. We know you have some wisdom, and we want others to be able to benefit from it!
Your check-in activity will power your personal profile and show you your most visited locations, recently visited spots, producers supported, and more!
